I’ve been a union printer, a cabdriver, a wetland scientist for King County, a professor of Writing and Critical Thinking at CUNY, a novelist*.. When I returned to the Pacific Northwest after my mother passed, I found Bremerton, by the sea where you can hear the seals bark, under tall cedars and Doug firs, a real place with real people with real concerns. I was a stranger here and you took me in. In return, I offer this blog of current events from a progressive point of view. Let’s work towards a livable, walkable, sustainable Bremerton.
